NEW YORK -- Colombian singer Juanes and his wife, actress Karen Martinez, are expecting their third child, the magazine People en Español reported Tuesday.
"It's official. Karen, Juanes, Luna and Paloma are happy," said the singer's public relations office on its Web page.
Miami's Diario de Las Americas, citing a source linked to an employee at Juanes' house in the Colombian city of Cartagena, reported that the child's birth is expected in mid-September, but so far the sex of the infant is not known.
"Juanes was very happy and he even offered a toast with some friends for this new child," the source told the daily.

week the tour in Europe finally started. After a festival in Spain there
was a concert in London
on Monday that had good reviews! On Wednesday June,4 was the first concert
in Germany, Berlin.

a succesfull tour in USA Juanes went to Japan. Juanes took advantage of
the trip to Japan,
where he held two concerts, to participate in the One for All event in
Tokyo last week alongside
Bono and Youssou N’Dour. The demonstration was organized by the
Tokyo International Conference
on African Development.

raid into Ecuador.

Villa del Rosario - Tens of thousands of concertgoers have attended a peace concert on the border
between Colombia and Venezuela.
The
Peace Without Borders concert was held to celebrate the fact that a crisis,
which began in
the region earlier this month, had not got out of hand. The artists, who
included Spanish singer
Alejandro Sanz and the Colombian rock star Juanes, performed on the Simon
Bolivar bridge linking
the two countries.
Juanes annouced to organize a Concert for Peace. “Paz sin fronteras”
Coming
Sunday a free concert will be on the border Colombo andVenezuela. The
Peaceconcert
without borders will be on the Simón Bolivarbridge, a point of
the border between Colombia and
Venezuela, to reaffirm the brotherhood between the South American countries
after the crisis
between the governments from Bogota and Ecuador to which Caracas added.
Confirmed performers are: Carlos Vives, Juanes Luis Guerra, Alejandro
Sanz, Miguel Bose, Ricardo
Montener, Juan Fernando Velasco.
The concert will start around noon Colombian time, each artist will sing
3 or 4 songs and they will
all sing in a "grande finale".

Juanes won two awards during Premios Principales in Spain last weekend.
He also performed for
more than half an hour. He did No creo en el jamas live and did Te busque
and Fotografia

he appeared in a Dutch Show "Mooi! weer de Leeuw!" where he
performed Me
enamora live (with Manuel, Toby and Waldo) and participated in a lessons

12, 2007 Juanes performed at the concert for Nobelprizewinners in Oslo.
He brought Minas pierdas and Me enamora. Minas pierdas made me cry....
Juanes did an awesome radioconcert on Bayern3.de in Nuernberg,
South Germany.
I was there
and enjoyed every minute of it.. The broadcast was one hour but when the
radio stopped Juanes and his band (Toby, Waldo and Manuel) just went along.
They did 20
songs. What a treat. The whole show was taken by a videocamera and will
probably
broadcasted on BR Bayern television.

Ratico," a fusion of rock, pop and Colombian rhythms, will feature
a collaboration with Argentine rock legend Andres Calamaro on the song
"Minas Piedras" and a duet, "Bandera de Manos," with
German rocker Campino of the punk band Die Toten Hosen.
The release of the new album "La vida es un ratico" will be in octobre.

There is going to be a parc called "Juanes de la Paz"....Juanes
of Peace
Juanes himself was there during the announcement with his
wife and two daughters Luna and Paloma, and declared himself to be very
proud of this honor.
Especially because the park is going to have facilities for disabled persons.
There will be special constructions and sort of games for NOT disabled
persons to experience the feelings of people who have lost their eyes,
arms or legs .....like going
through dark tunnels with bound eyes etc.
The work will start already before the year 2006 ends . It will be situated
to the north of Medellín,
and be 70.000 square miles big. It will cost about 4 million dollars.

Juanes is touring around Europe. It started last week in Amsterdam (see

Oh..he
cut his hair.... not a earthmoving fact but a suprise when he came on
stage on AMsterdam.
He told us he lost the hair but still has the same spirit! And he certainly
does have!

13, 2006 Juanes must be recovered from his illness because he was in Colombia
(allowed plane-travel again) and he kissed a girl in a Centro de Rehabilitacion..
On this album she sings Te busque, a song co-written by Juanes and he also sings the chorus.
A great song. I like the rest of Loose too. A nice variation of styles and a lovely voice.
Juanes cancelled his performances in France and Germany this week. He has an infection in
his forehead-cavity (sinusitis ?) and is not allowed to fly. We all wish him a fast recovery!

concert slated for May 16 in Rome, Italy.
The concert is expected to draw about 1 million people, but with acts
